Why it exists?

My mother taught me to see the hands behind the work. In Jaipur, art was on the walls and in the block print drying on rooftops, the weaver losing count in her courtyard. Years later in Toronto, I missed that weight. The Kokum Tree is my way of keeping those hands visible. Of staying connected to her, to them, to the part of me that believes things can still be made slowly and matter.
