Made for the kind of home where things are chosen carefully, the Gentle Glow is a handmade woven cotton throw blanket finished with traditional suzani embroidery. Skilled artisans stitch each border by hand, a technique originating in Asian textile heritage that takes patience to do right.
The 100% cotton weave is close and durable, built to hold its shape over years of use while staying breathable across every season. It works as a bed throw, sofa blanket, or layering piece and stays good forever.

Stitched Before the Wedding
Suzani is one of the few textile traditions where the making was the ceremony. Across Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and the courts of Mughal India, a suzani was assembled by a bride and the women around her, strip by strip, stitch by stitch, in the months before a marriage. The finished cloth was carried into the new home as a blessing, its pomegranates and sun discs a language of protection that needed no translation. Our cotton suzani throws are made in Rajasthan by embroiderers who work this same visual vocabulary, passed down through workshops that trace their lineage to the trade routes that once connected Jaipur to Samarkand. The cotton base makes them softer and more liveable than their ceremonial ancestors, but the motifs remain exactly as they were
A suzani was never just decoration. It was a record of the women who made it — their time, their wishes, their hands. Ours are no different.
